Who We Are

Troop 132 is proudly sponsored by VFW Post 981 in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  We welcome all youth with a desire to challenge themselves in a "fun based" environment.  The troop meets most Wednesday evenings.  The scouts develop and execute their own program with parent support and participation.  The Patrol Leaders Council consists of Patrol Leaders from each patrol. This group meets monthly with the Scoutmaster to plan troop meetings and activities

Oshkosh Air Museum

January 2022

Troop 132 enjoyed an overnight stay at the Oshkosh Air Museum in January.  The Scouts had the opportunity to earn the Aviation Merit Badge during this outing.

Klondike Derby

January 2022

Troop 132 engaged in winter camping fun at the 2022 Klondike Derby.

Bullfrog Lake Outing Fall 2021

November 2021

Troop 132 visited Bullfrog Lake in Willow Springs in November.  We camped, fished, cycled, cooked, and avoided digging up nuclear waste!

Kayaking in Kankakee

August 2021

Troop 132 kayaked on on the Kankakee River in August.  We also camped overnight.  Reliable sources indicate that Ice Cream may have been delivered to the Troop during the campout!

Mississippi Palisades Outing

May 2021

Troop 132 had a great trip and wonderful weather for the Mississippi Palisades outing in May
